
The Ministry of Youth Development and Sports in collaboration with the National Student’s Council hosted the Students In Excellence Award Ceremony on Sunday 25th July, 2021 at the Financial Administrative Centre, Pointe Seraphine, Castries.
The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College student and President of the SALCC Circle K Club, Letana Bruneau was awarded the Outstanding Student Leader Award. Letana was awarded based on her displayed leadership, commitment and involvement in school life. The award seeks to recognize her contribution to the development of her peers and her consideration as a role model by both peers and school staff.
Ms. Bruneau is pursuing her first year of CAPE studies at the College, focusing her studies in Applied Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. She has pledged to continue her works for the development of youth and her nation through volunteerism.

The SALCC Circle K Club is a service organization formed to help the College and community through various service projects. It is part of an umbrella of organizations led by Kiwanis International. The SALCC Circle K Club also aims to build fellowship and create leaders within the membership. The club raises funds for various causes. The major initiative is: “Focusing on the Future: Children," which aims to help children of ages six to thirteen.
The membership of the Club is fifty (50) students, led by Advisors Miss Dora Henry and Mr. Narpaul Heeralall.
