SALCC Explores Opportunities for Collaboration with India

H.E. Mr. Shankar Balachandran, High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Saint Lucia, paid a visit to the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

This provided College officials with the opportunity to explore avenues for collaboration, opportunities for study in India as well as exchanges with staff and students.

Japanese Collection Grows at HJFL

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) hosted Mr. Ishikawa Takehiro from JICA’s Head Office in Saint Lucia from July 25th – 30th, 2022. Mr. Takehiro made a special request to visit the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, to view the Hunter J François Library's special collection on Japanese history and culture.

French Gateways Cohort Visits Fond Doux

Participants of the French Gateways to Global Careers programme visited the Fond Doux Holiday Plantation and the Stonefield Villa Resort in Soufriere.

The group was exposed to aspects of the tourism and hospitality sector as well as the agro processing and food creation sectors, all integral to their areas of specialization.
