About Creative and Performing Arts

The concentration in Creative and Performing Arts offers learners the opportunity to develop their creative talents and attain a high tertiary level certification in foundational areas of the performing arts.

A holistic training experience is delivered through practical courses in theatre arts and creative production, combined with studies in critical areas such as production management and creative entrepreneurship.

Students also broaden their learning with a selection of General Education and personal interest (Elective) courses.

Successful graduates of this programme possess the requisite knowledge and skills to launch a career in many areas of the creative economy, as well as pursue a higher education in Creative and Performing Arts.

Stage managers coordinate and oversee backstage activities during productions and live performances. Some of their tasks include scheduling rehearsals, managing props and costumes, and ensuring that remaining team members are fulfilling their duties.

This profession proves rather lucrative, with potential employment in areas such as theatre, live events, film, music, and one-on-one sessions.

Event Coordination

Event Coordination

An event coordinator plans various types of events and ensures the cohesion of each composing element. Managing logistics, organizing talent and resources, and ensuring a production\'s overall success are key components of the role.
