Ultimately, the skills and credentials awarded from this programme prepare students for entry-level positions in fields such as Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, and Public Relations.
Journalists gather, investigate, and report on news and information with the goal of sensitizing the general public in mind.
Through diverse media such as interviews, documentaries, photography, and articles, journalists are integral in fostering the transparency and accountability of both institutions and individuals.
Graphic designers leverage the principles of typography (fonts), composition, and colour to craft visual products such as logos, flyers, websites, album covers, and packaging.
Through their work, graphic designers aim to convey messages and enhance the aesthetic appeal of products and brands.
A content writer is creating written material to communicate information in an appealing manner, catered to a target demographic.
Content writers aim to engage and inform their audience, ensuring that the tone, style and general aesthetic of their writing aligns with a given context (a brand, client, etc.).
Marketers or promoters are tasked with advertising products, services, and entire brands, with their mission being to generate awareness, intrigue, and ultimately, sales.
Professionals in this field generally engage in market research, promotional planning, digital marketing and advertising, and public relations.
