Twenty-five students of Sir Arthur Lewis Community College will receive internship opportunities through the Sustainable Agriculture in the Caribbean Project (SAC) and the World University Service of Canada (WUSC). The project targets women and youth in agriculture, and the students will gain invaluable experiences in agricultural sustainability.
The SAC project is underway in five (5) countries in the region and will run for five (5) years. On Friday, July 23, 2021, members of the World University Service of Canada held a soft launch of the project on the SALCC campus grounds.
