Defensive Driving is an interactive, eight-hour course that is delivered 100% online and synchronously. The course is accessible to all persons who currently possess a Provisional Driver’s License.

SALCC's Hunter J. François Library engaged faculty of the Anse La Raye Primary School with a day-long workshop entitled, "Unlocking the Power of the School Library." The initiative was yet another step in HJFL's stride to improve the teaching capabilities of primary school instructors across Saint Lucia.

SALCC hosted a health seminar presented by Dr. Patricia St. Louis of the Vaughan A. Lewis Institute for Research and Innovation, known simply as VALIRI. VALIRI and its affiliate Dr. Aviane Auguste are close partners with the College and have worked closely with staff and students of the Health Wellness and Human Performance Department.
A press launch was held at The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College to officially announce Saint Lucia's hosting of the inaugural AI Global South Summit, taking place from October 29 to 31 2024. The College is among the event's esteemed partners, with lecturer Ms. Kem Emmanuel slated to deliver a presentation at the summit.

September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day, and the SALCC Counselling Unit encouraged students and faculty to dress in yellows and oranges, and share personal habits for maintaining a healthy and positive state of mind. 💛🧡
SALCC celebrates the book launch of alumni Jayde Thomas, as he contributes to St. Lucia's ever-growing literary scene with his debut poetry collection, The Heart's Mind.
Second-year CAPE student Nehal Wadhwani teamed up with SALCC to facilitate a three-day advanced programming and robotics workshop. The participants had an amazing time, and the quality of the workshop speaks to Nehal's expertise and passion for robotics.

On July 11, 2024, SALCC formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Dujon Foundation. A non-profit organization, the Dujon Foundation seeks to empower underserved communities in Saint Lucia, through the development of educational resources, job opportunities, and other forms of professional development.
It was an epic exchange of arguments between sister nations. Dominica State College came out on top in the first debate while, SALCC bounced back to claim victory in the second.
