About Sarai Francis Swanson

Sarai Francis Swanson Bio

Sarai Francis Swanson comes from a theatrical background having starred in a series of plays produced by the Factory Theatre Company. She is a vocalist and a past member of the group sisterhood, which performed main-stage of the St. Lucia Jazz Festival 2003. Sarai I'Shyne is also a spoken word poet, who has participated in and won national poetry slams.

She has won M&C Fine Arts Awards winner for poetry and stage performance. She is the writer of a blog — The Hardliner Chronicles: A Misdemeanor Diva's Journey to Self-Enlightenment: https://thehardlinerchronicles.com/. A storyteller at heart, she provided a platform for young student poets to tell their own stories through the creation of SALCC's poetry slam — WORRRD Up. Sarai I'Shyne currently resides in the United Kingdom.
