Kendal John is the Communications Director at the Cultural Development Foundation (CDF), with over 25 years of experience in media, arts, and communication. He holds a Double Major Bachelor’s degree in Film Production and Television & Radio, bringing both academic and creative expertise to his work in cultural advocacy and storytelling.

A strong proponent of cultural preservation and public engagement, Kendal has contributed to the creative landscape as an illustrator, calypsonian, fine artist, and film maker. His accomplishments include producing the UNESCO-supported heritage documentary Who Are You?, directing the CDF reality series Curtain Call, and producing and directing the recent theatrical release of Saint Lucia – The Wild Side, the island’s first wildlife documentary. He also serves as President of the Audiovisual and Film Association.

Beyond his professional life, Kendal is an avid salsa dancer and one of the managers of the SalsaKiz Latin dance group. His enduring passion for Saint Lucian culture—and for the arts in all their forms—shines through in everything he does.
