Defensive Driving
Defensive Driving is an interactive, eight-hour course that is delivered 100% online and synchronously. The course is accessible to all persons who currently possess a Provisional Driver’s License.

A non-refundable fee of EC$350.00 must be paid at the College, Bank of Saint Lucia (Account #101192481) or using our online payment portal by November 21, 2025.
Payments should only be made by graduands who have confirmed their attendance through the completion of the graduation attendance form.
Graduation Gowns will only be delivered upon presentation of a payment receipt. Bank slips must be presented in duplicate with the student’s name clearly printed.

All graduands are invited to a rehearsal exercise from 9:00am in Room 2 of the Innovation Hub.

Gowns will be distributed in the storeroom on the ground floor of the Science Block at SALCC's Morne Campus.

After the Graduation Ceremony, gowns should be returned immediately to the assigned room.
Gowns will not be distributed on the day of the ceremony (Sunday December 7, 2025).
Graduation Rehearsals will be held on Saturday, 6th December 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 2 of the Innovation Hub at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, Morne Fortune, Castries.

Please note that PRIVATE PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to operate during the Ceremony, however, you will receive a complimentary photograph capturing your moment crossing the stage. There will also be photographer on site for hire. This arrangement will be directly between you and the photographer.
For the morning ceremony, graduands are expected to be present by 8:00 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. there will be a final roll check by a designated staff member for each department.
For the afternoon ceremony, graduands are expected to be present by 1:00 p.m. A final roll check will be conducted at 2:30 p.m.
Upon entry at the Royalton Hotel on graduation day, students are to assemble at the designated area to meet with your Unit Head/designate for filing of graduands in pairs alphabetically by programmes.
This is in preparation for the procession of graduands into the graduation hall at the commencement of the ceremony. You will be presented with a name tag which will be utilised during the calling of the names by the Registrar for certificates and awards.
Gradually process into the graduation hall by walking at a reasonable pace in pairs and filling the seats row by row. Once you have filed yourself in the respective row, stand in front of the designated seat for graduands.
Please note: When transitioning into single file, THE PERSON ON THE LEFT MOVES FORWARD FIRST.
Remain standing until all graduands have filed themselves into their respective seats, and await the announcement for you to be seated.

All participating in the ceremony will be directed to stand and will remain standing while the Platform Party process out. Graduates will process to the assigned rooms.
Special notice for the morning ceremony: Once the ceremony has concluded, guests are encoraged to exit promptly in order to facilitate preparations for the afternoon ceremony.
There is a designated area for collection of certificates, the 'Dennery Room.' Certificates will be issued upon the return of the graduation gown by graduands.
Graduands will be provided with 3 meal chits for themselves and their 2 guests to be presented for the collection of the snack plates in the designated area.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, the shuttle transportation service will be available to transport graduands and guests back to the parking lot near the parking area near the Clico Grounds and the Sandals lot next to the Landings Hotel.

Female graduands are required to wear either a white or black dress and black shoes.
Male graduands are required to wear dark dress trousers and a white shirt and black shoes.

No, you can only receive your certificate after the graduation ceremony. However, a letter of completion can be prepared prior to the collection of your certificate, should it be required for applications, etc.
