Defensive Driving
Defensive Driving is an interactive, eight-hour course that is delivered 100% online and synchronously. The course is accessible to all persons who currently possess a Provisional Driver’s License.

SALCC recognized its Engineering students with GPAs of 3.5 and above, during a dedeicated Dean's List Ceremony held on Wednesday November 5, 2025.
The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College recognized its Humanities and Science students with GPAs of 3.5 and above, during a special Dean's List Ceremony held within its Innovation Hub on Wednesday October 22, 2025. In addition to certificates, students also received special tokens to honour their academic performance.
The Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival (LACFEST) is a collaboration between SALCC and the four Latin American embassies (Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela) to expose students Latin American Film culture and to encourage the learning of foreign languages (specifically Spanish and Portuguese).
The Taiwan–Saint Lucia bilateral partnership continues strong as a hands-on Artificial Intelligence Workshop, centered on image and video creation at SALCC on Tuesday October 21, 2025.
On October 22, 2025, the SALCC Student Experience Unit hosted a number of festive activities for students and staff, in celebration of Jounen Kwéyòl 2025. Local (St. Lucian) actor and comedian, Carlton ‘Coaks’ Cyril, was a featured guest at the event.

On January 17 2025, The Hunter J. François Library of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College hosted its inaugural Writers In The Spotlight, Book Fair, which celebrated Saint Lucia's rich literary heritage by highlighting the works of over 40 local authors. In addition, back-to-back Author Talks sessions featuring some of the island's most notable writers were held concurrently with the fair. The fair culminated with a special lecture by Dr. Didacus Jules, during which he showcased his latest book, Education for Uncertainty.
As part of the 2025 Nobel Laureate Festival, SALCC partnered with the Saint Lucia Athletic Associate to host the inaugural Laureate 5K Run on Sunday February 2, 2025.

The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College participated in Helen's Daughters recurring FarmHers Market on Saturday, February 1, 2025 outside the Rodney Bay Aquatic Centre. Various produce from the SALCC Farm was on sale for patrons, including eggs, local juices and ground provisions.

SALCC hosted a health seminar presented by Dr. Patricia St. Louis of the Vaughan A. Lewis Institute for Research and Innovation, known simply as VALIRI. VALIRI and its affiliate Dr. Aviane Auguste are close partners with the College and have worked closely with staff and students of the Health Wellness and Human Performance Department.
A press launch was held at The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College to officially announce Saint Lucia's hosting of the inaugural AI Global South Summit, taking place from October 29 to 31 2024. The College is among the event's esteemed partners, with lecturer Ms. Kem Emmanuel slated to deliver a presentation at the summit.
September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day, and the SALCC Counselling Unit encouraged students and faculty to dress in yellows and oranges, and share personal habits for maintaining a healthy and positive state of mind. 💛🧡
SALCC celebrates the book launch of alumni Jayde Thomas, as he contributes to St. Lucia's ever-growing literary scene with his debut poetry collection, The Heart's Mind.
On July 11, 2024, SALCC formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Dujon Foundation. A non-profit organization, the Dujon Foundation seeks to empower underserved communities in Saint Lucia, through the development of educational resources, job opportunities, and other forms of professional development.
In celebration of National Library Week 2024, SALCC's Hunter J. François Library hosted a brand new installment of their Author Talks lecture series, with featured guests Mr. MacDonald Dixon and Ms. Chadia Mathurin.
