About Carpentry and Joinery Foundations

Carpentry and Joinery Foundations equips its learners with the knowledge and competences required to become an effective craftsperson.

Students enrolled in this programme are able to develop their constructional skills, while learning techniques and practices to increase marketability for roles in the wider industry.

Upon successful completion, students receive a Carpentry and Joinery Foundations Certificate, as well as the chance to enroll in the Carpentry and Joinery Part 2 course.

  1. Required passes (Grades 1, 2, 3 or 4) in Mathematics and English A.
  2. Mature students (25+) require interview and Prior Learning Assessment. Contingent on passing an interview.
