In this programme learners will explore the traditional and digital techniques used in 2D and 3D animation. Learners will enter a world of the theory and mechanics behind animation development from storyboarding to post-production.
Through hands-on training, they will learn and apply the twelve principles of animation which are implemented in both 2D and 3D animation. A knowledge of design and film is essential to make a well-rounded animation student.
Therefore learners will be introduced to basic design principles and skills, and topics for broader understanding of subject and context of design. Learners will be required to apply those principles to the development of new media, audio-visual products, graphics and animation.
