About Digital Business and Economy

The Associate Degree in Digital Business and Economy seeks to merge digital business — the use of technology for all manner of business operations, with the digital economy — online markets built upon and influenced by technology and the internet.

Students enrolled in this programme learn the ins and outs of digital marketing and the management of an enterprise within the digital economy. Also examined is the impact of digitization on the world of business, and how it continues to faciliate the rise of new markets and tools for business operations.

  1. General College entry requirements or equivalent. One of which must be a Modern Language.
  2. The following courses would be an asset:
    • Principles of Accounts
    • Principles of Business
    • Information Technology
    • Economics
  3. Students must have access to a computer.
  4. All candidates who have not passed CSEC French or Spanish will be required to register for, and successfully complete an access course in the subject area prior to registration.
