Criminal Justice

The Associate Degree in criminal Justice programme is designed to prepare practicing officers and other learners for service to the community in the fields of law enforcement, criminalistics, private security and investigation. In general criminal justice majors examine the practices of public agencies which seek to prevent, control, adjudicate, punish, correct and defend juvenile delinquents, criminal suspects and convicted offenders. The programme is expected to considerably enhance the capacity of persons in the Criminal Justice field and also provide the academic foundation for individuals wishing to further their education.

General Associate Degree Entry requirements. Mature applicants without the entry qualifications may be considered for admission following an interview and the successful completion of relevant matriculation requirements. Interview required.
