Group Business Development Director, Digicel
Frank works across Digicel's markets in the Caribbean, Central American and Pacific regions focusing on business solutions, multilateral agencies, regional bodies and government relations. Frank was Digicel's first employee in April 1999 and was responsible for securing the company's initial telecommunications licences across the Caribbean, including lobbying for the liberalization of the markets, establishing local subsidiaries and identifying local partners and initial staff.
Prior to joining Digicel, Frank was employed by Communicorp Group as Personal Assistant to Denis O'Brien (Chairman and owner of Digicel), during which time he worked on Ireland's successful bid to host the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games, the largest sporting event held in the world in 2003. Frank was also Company Secretary for all of Mr. O'Brien's companies, including East Telecom Group plc. Ireland's second telephone company.
Frank graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Finance) degree and postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Practice. He then worked in the UCD Graduate School of Business for 5 years as Programme Manager of the Postgraduate Marketing Development Programme, allowing graduates to gain real-life experience working on marketing assignments for companies.
Frank lives in Cap Estate, St. Lucia, with his wife Fiona and three children.
