Architectural Technology

This programme seeks to provide students with a knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and the built environment, as they relate to the design process.

Further, students learn to show appreciation for architectural processes with emphasis on analysis, interpretation and design application.

Entry Requirements

Passes in at least five (5) subjects at CXC General Proficiency Level, including English A, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (Grades I, II, III) or GCE ‘O’ level (Grades A, B, C) or a combination of both.

This Associate Degree programme is made up of courses that would amount to at least seventy– nine (79) Credits. Courses in the programme will comprise General Education, Programme (Major) and Elective courses. There are optional courses in the General Education category and the Major category.

In addition, all candidates who have not passed CSEC Chemistry and Physics would be required to register for and successfully complete an access course in the subject area prior to registration.**

All students must have access to a laptop or desktop computer after hours
